- Determine design criteria: size of home, number of stories, style, number of rooms, finishes, etc.
- Set initial budget expectations
- Deliverable is a sketch of floors and front elevation
- Review and refine sketches
- Prepare preliminary estimates
- Meet as required until preliminary design and estimate are consistent with client’s desires
3 DRAWINGS
- Clients authorize the design of the entire home or project
- Deliverable is AutoCAD drawing of floors and all elevations.
- Review and make necessary revisions
- Review and update preliminary estimates
- Meet as required until preliminary designs and estimates are consistent with client’s desires
4 FINAL DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES
- Clients give final approval for plans
- Prepare final specifications
- Client to make preconstruction selections
- Prepare final contract numbers
5 CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT SIGNING
- Client gives final approval for plans
- Present final plans, specifications and budget
- Sign contract
